Snow Day

As snowflakes slowly cascade in the morning sunlight, a peaceful serenity blanketed the valley and my soul. I stood in a field of bitter brush in Grand Teton National Park as a herd of bachelor moose ignored the click of my camera. Creatures great and small emerged from their hiding as each species hunted for sustenance in the preparation for the coming winter.
