David Morring is an ambidextrous storyteller equally gifted with the lens and the pen. He writes and photographs about a diverse range of subjects for commercial and editorial clients.

Writer: Words are one of David’s most treasured mediums. He’s a writer and contributing editor for the Overland Journal. His screenplay, 4 Corners, won the Grand Prize Winner for the Hollywood Screenplay Competition. He’s written and produced hundreds of television commercials including six Super Bowl commercials. He currently has a novel and several other books in various stages of completion.

Photographer: The camera is David’s accomplice to his pen. He’s an Expedia Adventure Photography Grand Prize winner, an International Photography Awards Jury Top 5 Selection, a Bird Photographer of the Year Finalist, and he’s been named a Top 100 Photographer in the USA by the 35Awards. His images have landed on the pages of the Overland Journal, Alpinist, Bird Photographer of the Year and Nature’s Best Photography Magazine.

Wanderer: David’s travels, both professional and personal, have taken him to all seven continents and 24 countries so far. From his first foray hitchhiking to the Tetons as a seventeen-year-old to his more recent excursions to Antarctica and Patagonia, David has an unquenchable passion for sharing his unique perspective on people, nature and culture through his lens and his pen.

Outside of work, David is an avid father, husband, rock climber, whitewater kayaker, caver, table tennis player and board game geek.
